  • 13:30 Presentations of participating schools (focus on previous experience and future plans for digital innovation). Getting to know each other, expectations towards the course.

  • 15:30 Setting up a collaborative learning environment: Google Drive, Facebook, EdShelf (James Sunny Quaicoe)

  • 17:00 – 17.30 Debriefing and reflecting

TUESDAY, 28 May

Main topic: Leading the pedagogical change in the digital age - Moderator: Mart Laanpere

  • 09:00-10.30 New pedagogies for 21st Century schools (Mart)

  • 11:00-12:30 Designing innovative learning scenarios (Mart)

  • 13:30-17:00 Project-based learning: creating digital learning resources (Mart)

  • 17:00–17:30 Debriefing and reflecting

WEDNESDAY, 29 May

Main topic: Dissemination and community engagement - Contact: Jan Hormann

  • 8:45 Meeting at train station Utrecht Centraal. Train to Amsterdam departs from platform 5 at 08.55 and arrives 9.20 at Amsterdam Zuid. Jan Hormann meets the group at Amsterdam Zuid at 9:25, then a short walk to school.

Students aged 12-18 / Dalton school / Mavo pre lower vocational)- havo- (pre-higher vocational) vwo (pre-university) en gymnasium (=grammar school- pre-university).

FRIDAY, 31 May

Main topic: Communicating your school development plan and activities - Contact: James Sunney Quaicoe

  • 09:00-10:30 Communicating your project through digital storytelling: composing a photo story on a school development project. Using Web2.0 for dissemination of your project (James).

  • 11:00-12:30 Workshop on infographics: analyzing and visualizing your school improvement data (James)

  • 13:30-15:00 Final presentations of the self-evaluation and school innovation reports/plans (James)

  • 15:30 Feedback and evaluation of the course

  • 16:30 Handing over the certificates.

 

SATURDAY 1 June

Main topic: Reflection, feedback and planning the next steps - Contact: James Sunney Quaicoe

  • 10:00 Individual tutoring: elaborating favorite topic of course, extra training for capabilities to work as trainers and on implementing course ideas in practice.

  • 11:00 Feedback on the course and evaluation. Planning follow-up activities. (James)

  • 12:00 Closing.
